Tula Teas is a boutique online tea business based in Victoria, British Columbia. We started the business in 2009 with the goal of making traditional and authentic teas more accessible to the tea-loving public. We are firm believers in the idea that the best teas come from small, family-owned tea gardens. This is not simply a matter of do-gooder wis... hful thinking, but a high level of firsthand experience with the incredible teas that result from the skilled hands of artisan tea growers and tea masters. The experience, expertise and tradition involved in producing these meticulously hand-processed high-elevation teas dazzle the mind and, more importantly, the senses. Therefore, we strive to support some of the world's greatest tea makers and to provide you with some of the best and freshest teas and tisanes from around the globe. Our offerings rotate seasonally to ensure the utmost freshness and to satisfy the range of cravings that you, our customers, experience in the budding of spring, height of summer, crispness of fall or depths of winter. Rather than rely on unnecessary added flavours to spice up our offerings, we focus on the taste of the teas themselves. We do our best to source the freshest, purest, most deliciously nuanced teas we can find. Most of our teas are nothing more than handcrafted tealeaves, and we select naturally flavoured, scented or blended teas only when they meet our high standards for a complexly culinary cuppa. We believe that the blended and flavoured teas that dominate the market in North America distract from the authentic taste of pure, fresh whole leaf teas. The inherent complexity and the quality of these teas also means a high-value beverage for you - these teas flourish under multiple infusions and, when reinfused, typically have a price per cup that's lower than table wine, beer or organic milk.
