Dietitian Samantha Mosbrucker founded True Wellness to educate, empower, and (most importantly) excite others, especially children, to create healthy habits that last a lifetime. Whether it is speaking in schools/worksites about nutrition and mindful eating, hosting cooking demonstrations, or enhancing wellness programs, True Wellness aims to guide... others on their wellness journeys. Best yet, True Wellness teaches that it doesn't have to be complex; implementing small, simple changes can lead to big results. Wherever others are at in their wellness journeys, True Wellness will meet them there and guide them to where they want to go! Hello! My name is Samantha; I am a Registered Dietitian and lover of food that makes you feel good. I have a passion for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals, whatever that may look like to them. I graduated with a bachelors degree in Nutrition from the University of St. Thomas and a masters degree in Public Health Nutrition from the University of Minnesota. Ironically, my interest in nutrition grew from my own stomach issues. Growing up, I constantly had stomach aches; Id often lay underneath the dinner table in pain after eating! For many years I began to think that this was normal (spoiler alert: its not). I had seen various doctors and specialists without getting any answers. Finally, I met with a registered dietitian who suggested I take a look at the foods I was eating. Based on my symptoms and endoscopy results, she said I needed to eliminate gluten, so I did and my world changed for the better!! From that moment I knew that I wanted to help others just as this dietitian had done for me. I believe that ALL foods can have a place in a healthy diet (as long as youre not allergic or intolerant, of course) and I promote moderation and balance.
