I founded True North Builders, Inc. with the purpose of providing tremendous service to a small list of discerning clients. I was fortunate to find my passion early in life, and feel lucky to have worked with some of the best clients and tradesmen in Arizona, and beyond. Born and raised on a family farm in North Dakota, I learned early in life the... value of a hard day's work. Whether it was working with cattle or working in the fields, there was always something that needed to be taken care of. The days in our shop working on equipment and machinery sparked an interest that couldn't be satisfied in a field, and by the time I was in high school I was working in construction. I eventually moved off the farm and worked my way through college as a finish carpenter and general handyman. I had my own company during this time, and found the work to be very rewarding. I graduated from North Dakota State University with a BS in Construction Management. By the time I had graduated from college I was ready to get out of the snow and head south. I worked for one of Arizona's largest general contractors for over 14 years before starting up True North Builders. The technical, managerial, and overall leadership experience I gained in these years was incredible, and I'm very thankful for all of the great relationships which were developed during this time. At True North, we bring the relationships and personal attention which can only be found with a small company. We bring the project management, strategic planning, technical building skills, and processes typically only found in larger companies.
