John's son Peter begins running the company. Over the course of next several years the business slowly expands with the acquisition of other local oil companies. The company becomes Trono Fuels and expands into central Vermont serving customers in Washington and Orange Counties. Peter's son Lucas becomes part of the Trono Fuels team managing the Burlington office. With the addition of Lucas into the fold, he becomes the 3rd generation manager of Chittenden County's longest running fuel business.
