Tritech engineering deliver a high end fit-out for APC incorporating small & large molecule laboratories, air conditioned office areas, meeting rooms, canteen facility & laboratory support rooms. As this building was originally intended for office use the space allocation for services was limited when you consider all of the additional ventilation... and medical gas plant requirements. The building was constructed in 2008 without the use of BIM modelling so the decision to utilise 3D laser scanning to provide the basis of an accurate 3D model was an obvious choice. Revit MEP was used as the coordination software and the best use of limited space was achieved in terms of riser, roof and ceiling areas. See the company's BIM page for more details.
