Triputra Agro Persada (TAP) is committed to contributing to national development by providing food and energy security, rural development and poverty alleviation. TAP aims to meet globally acknowledged sustainability standards. TAP is a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO). We have obtained several RSPO and ISPO certifications, and are working towards full certification for all plantations. This includes the implementation of FPIC, SIA, and HCV Assessment in all our sites. In addition to the mandatory laws and voluntary certification schemes, TAP also collaborates with local communities, government institutions, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders to improve our sustainability practices. Our plasma program empowers farmers by giving them training on agricultural practices. Our scholarships and road building efforts are helping to improve education and infrastructure in rural areas. TAP has always been searching for and implementing environmentally-friendly initiatives. Our methane gas capture program will reduce GHG emissions and bring our plantations closer to energy-neutral. Our composting program will reduce waste and dependency on inorganic fertilizers. TAP supports the principles of IPOP, an initiative signed at the 2014 United Nations Climate Summit to pursue sustainable palm oil that is deforestation free, respects human and community rights and delivers shareholder value.
