In the middle of the most important deal of our companys history, there was a moment when the whole thing nearly fell through. Rather than flaring up, I was able to calmly sit down with him and run through the coaching model wed learnt from TRIBES. That conversation turned the whole thing around and now the deal is done. TRIBES is a real highlight of my life and has become an important fixture in my monthly development. It forces me to get outside of my own routine sphere of interaction and provides me with different perspectives, kindness, real emotional intelligence and friends for life. For me, the cadence of taking time out with my peers to discuss whats going on in my personal and professional life, in a proven framework has probably had the greatest exponential impact on my career yet its saved me wasted years of indecision and unhappiness. My fellow members held me accountable to my action points, and was the catalyst for shutting down Mobula which was making me unhappy, and starting Heights, which felt much more like the kind of business I wanted to build.Read More
