Tri-County Pediatrics

Tri-County Pediatrics was founded in the year 1986 and earned its name by serving the three main counties of Fulton, Fayette, and Clayton. Two caring physicians, Dr. Lucila Velez and Dr. Sushila Mathew, joined their efforts and expertise with a vision of a bright future and created the strong foundation of what this practice has become today. In 19... 93 the practice grew when an opportunity to open a second location in Henry County arose. The initial seven years of working together established the cornerstone for what has become today a thriving practice which includes 6 physicians serving patients in not only Fulton, Fayette, and Clayton counties, but also Henry County, Monroe County, Spalding County and Butts County. The physicians in our practice have an educational background which spans 5 decades, offering the priceless combination of years of experience with up-to-date training and knowledge. Dr. Purna Chadalawada, and Dr. Kathie Brichant joined with Drs Velez and Mathew over 13 years ago, and together these four physicians worked for several years creating an outstanding practice which maintained a warm family atmosphere. Just recently, four new physicians joined the Tri-County Pediatrics practice group. Dr. Beena Parbhu,Dr. Veronica Lewis, Dr. Manjit Singh, and Dr. Gerren Ector have brought a fresh perspective which will help open the doors to new possibilities. With our three main locations in Riverdale, Stockbridge and Fayetteville we serve a diverse patient population of Caucasian, African-American, Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern and South Asian ancestry. Our physicians are multi-lingual and converse fluently with patients in English, Spanish, Telugu, Malayalam, Gujrati, Punjabi and Hindi. Our physicians and nurses are also greatly involved in community health fairs and other forms of social service.
