Established in 1996, Tremor Earthmoving Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated business based at Carnarvon in the Gascoyne Region of Western Australia. We aim to service all civil contracting, cartage and machinery hire needs in the Gascoyne and surrounding regions and have also commenced with the production and delivery of construction materials.... The foundations of Tremor Earthmoving were laid in Morawa when Drew Vandeleur and his father Gerald began contracting their farm bulldozer to neighbouring farmers. It was decided in 1981 to replace the faithful Fiat AT7 dozer with a brand new John Deere JD 850 bulldozer to service the needs of the growing soil conservation industry in the Mid West of Western Australia. Over time, a bulk transport business also evolved to service the cartage demand of a growing band of farming clients. Carting grain, fertiliser and lime-sand, along with supplying gravel and sand became part and parcel of the expanding business run from 'Mt. Cahercon Farm' west of Morawa. Drew with his parents and wife Vicky continued to expand the business in the Mid West over the following years and it was in February 1996 that Drew and Vicky commenced trading in their own right as 'Tremor the Earth's Moving Company. Tremor expanded its plant list and progressed to civil contracting works. This included the construction of grain storage installations for CBH and also becoming involved with the re-establishing iron ore mining industry in the Mid-West region. In 2005, noting the potential of growth in the Gascoyne region, Drew and Vicky decided to relocate and based the operations of Tremor Earthmoving in Carnarvon. Since the relocation, the business has continued to develop with clients including Rio Tinto, Main Roads of WA, various Shire Councils and many private contractors.
