Gammon India Limited (T&D Business) is one of the leading EPC Companies with global exposure in Extra High Voltage Transmission Line and Distribution projects since 1984. We have in-house facility for Design, Testing and Tower manufacturing capacity (110,000 TPA)since 1994 and have supplied towers / structures over 4,90,000 metric tons including 60... ,000 metric tons to various countries. Conductor Manufacturing (capacity 50,000 TPA) operational since March'2008. We have supplied more than 25000 Kms of Conductors of various sizes including more than 4500 Kms to overseas utilities. Our Conductor Manufacturing unit is approved by Powergrid. We are having Survey and Construction facility (having completed more than 16,000 ckm of transmission line upto 765 KV including hotline stringing of 729 Km). We are in possession of 25 sets of Tension Stringing equipments (8/9/15/16/20 tonnes). We are ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified for Design, Testing, Manufacturing and Turnkey projects. Our state-of-the-art tower testing facility at Wardha is fully automatic with Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) software technology and can test towers upto 1200 kV towers. The testing station has been accorded "Recognition of IN-HOUSE R&D centre" by Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology. We have designed / tested more than 100 types of towers up to 800 kV for Indian and Overseas Clients, including 765KV D/C Towers, 735KV S/C Guyed Towers, 275KV M/C Monopoles. We have large pool of competent managerial and supervisory personnel of over 1600 (excluding workmen in factories and project sites).
