Mr. Guay passes the reins to his son Stéphan. Growth is explosive: annual sales revenues increase by 30%. A 2nd expansion of the warehouse. Opening a 2nd warehouse of 10,000 square feet. Transit occupies a 35,000 square-foot warehouse which also becomes too small. Transit opens its first branch in Montreal, in the St-Léonard area. Opening a branch in Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland. Opening a branch in Toronto, Ontario. Inauguration of the new 50,000 square-foot building on land almost 7 times larger.
