TRAMBE is a family owned and run sheep enterprise focused on genetic improvement to meat and fibre on a poll merino sheep. TRAMBE is driving improvement in sheep to deliver: greater fibre density and fibre length increase in weaning percentage improved growth rate and vigour improved muscle production in lambs frequent faster and easier shearing TRAMBE is owned and operated by Tim and Ruth Christopherson on their property "Avonlea" just south of Orange NSW. Tim's family have been graziers in the Orange district since the 1850's growing mainly sheep for their wool. Ruth and Tim became the owners of Avonlea in 1978 and have developed it as a sheep breeding enterprise. Tim's working life has been totally involved in sheep production and the wool industry. TRAMBE sheep are raised and grown with sustainable practices and are bred to remove the need for mulesing.Explore more
