Intellectual Property Right has always been one of the strengths of our practice area. Since the Decree on Trademark Registration was enacted in the 1991s, we have devoted to IPR field for a long time and witnessed the evolution of Lao intellectual property systems. In terms of the administrative measures of the intellectual property right, we conducted the trademark infringement cases with DIP on behalf of Vimaflour (Vietnam), RAC Oil (Thailand), and won the cases. We assisted a number of famous foreign companies to make investments or to set up business offices in Lao PDR. We assist the clients comprehensively in any business investment in Lao PDR. We also are the legal consultant and we provided our legal services on matters relating to intellectual property protection, company establishment, investment plan, shareholding structure, and legal opinions on all other matters. We believe strongly that administrative measures and/or mediation can be an effective solution in appropriate cases. We have provided administrative measures and mediation services regarding IPR matters by inviting conflicting parties to the table and discuss the areas of conflict and resolve them peacefully and amicably.
