Tracey Brunstrom & Hammond

TBH was founded in 1965 in Seattle by Richard Tracey and Gerald Brunstrom under the name Tracey & Brunstrom. In 1959 Robert Dudley joined "Dick" and Gerry to create Tracey Brunstrom & Dudley (TBD). The company's focus during the 1950s was the defence and aerospace industries. In 1965 Gerry Brunstrom opened an office in Perth to service a large US N... avy contract for the new Harold Holt Communications Station located on the west coast of Australia. In 1966 Peter Jobs moved from Seattle to establish a Sydney office and was joined in 1969 by Roy Hammond. Early projects for the young company included upgrades of the Sydney and Melbourne airports, hospitals and high rise constructions. In 1970 Peter Jobs returned to the US, and he and Gerry Brunstrom branched off to form Olympic Engineering Corporation. The Australian offices of TBD evolved separately into Tracey Brunstrom & Hammond (TBH), becoming a fully Australian owned company in 1976 with Roy Hammond as Managing Director. In 1978 TBD and Olympic Engineering Corporation merged to form Olympic Associates Company (OAC), which still operates today as one of the leading professional consulting firms in the United States. TBH expanded into Brisbane in 1980 and Canberra in 1990. Although TBH had a presence in Melbourne and Perth during the 80s, the current Melbourne and Perth offices were established in 1999 and 2005 respectively. While TBH has been servicing Asia and the Middle East from its Australian base since the 1980s, TBH joined forces with Confluence in 2008 to form ConfluenceTBH, a Singapore-based venture which now provides the company's specialist services throughout Asia, Oceania, the Middle East and Europe. ConfluenceTBH has offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
