Tourrs is a marketplace for people to create, sell and buy self-guided experiences. We're changing the way people travel around the world by providing affordable travel, university and charitable tours and sharing revenue with the tour creator. As a Marketing Coordinator at Tourrs, you will have only one focus: growth. You will use every skill in y... our marketing arsenal to drive brand acceptance and user acquisition for our product. All available marketing channels should be used, but given our product is a mobile app and primarily online, your skills in email, search, and web marketing/advertising are crucial. Also, it is necessary that you have experience in creative marketing and advertising campaigns based on a limited budget, given that you will have exactly that. Experience in the online travel/tourism industry is a must, along with a solid technical background and experience in internet site/app marketing. Your main project will be defining the launch strategy for the Tourrs app. We have a strong product, but without a solid marketing strategy, it will not succeed. You also need to understand marketing analytics to ensure every campaign is tracked and success can be measured. We are a technology company, and we expect technology to be used to ensure our marketing dollars are well spent. Although we are based in downtown San Diego, we are a distributed company and you can work from anywhere. The ideal candidate would be local to San Diego, but this is not a requirement. What is crucial is to be completely self-motivated and driven. We do not care what you wear, where you work, if you have to leave during the middle of the day to play handball, or how you get the job done; we only care about the results.
