Tourism Noosa is the official tourism organisation for the Noosa region on the Sunshine Coast, including Noosa Heads and Noosaville to Peregian, Eumundi and other areas of the Noosa hinterland. Apart from marketing the region to domestic and international consumers, trade and the media, we also have a community leadership role and work in partnersh... ip with Noosa Council, Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd, Tourism and Events Queensland, Tourism Australia, Noosa Biosphere Ltd, business associations, community organisations, tourism industry operators and many others. Tourism Noosa is a membership-based organisation with about 600 members including accommodation providers, tour operators, retail businesses, restaurateurs, real estate agents, fitness centres, health spas, transport and tourism services and wineries. Our activities are also supported through a tourism levy to which many local businesses contribute. We are committed to the development of sustainable tourism within our region. With this in mind, all our activities are guided by the Noosa Sustainable Destination Action Plan 2013-2016 which sets a new strategic vision for the leadership and management of the industry in our community. It outlines priorities, actions and measures to take the industry forward, with the aim of increasing the value of tourism to the region to $1 billion per year by 2016.
