Touch Therapy

I have built the foundations of Touch Therapy over many years, without being consciously aware this is where I was heading! As with anything I do, I work with enthusiasm, curiousity, energy and enjoyment, which I believe reflects in my practice. I work intuitively and by listening, not only to you and what you want, but also with my hands, so each... treatment is unique and aims to meet the needs of you, the client on that particular day. My 'journey' has included developing my interest in complementary therapies, actively seeking ways of healthy living, training as a Counsellor and finally arriving as a Holistic Therapist following the completion of a rigorous training at Central College Nottingham in Holistic Massage and Anatomy/Physiology. I have since studied Hopi Ear Candle treatment, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Seated Chair massage, Hot Stonefusion, Holistic Medical Massage, Tsuboki Japanese Face Massage and Auricular Acupuncture so that I can offer an integrated treatment package to suit your needs. I continue to develop and update my techniques by further reading, studying and regularly attending workshops and seminars on more advanced techniques. I am the Co-ordinator for the Nottingham branch of the Federation of Holistic Therapists Local Support Group. Not only is the group a valuable source of support, networking and information for local therapists, its mission is to also to promote awareness of complementary therapies and provide a central point of contact for the public. In addition to my individual client work, I work in the corporate sector, offering a stress-busting seated chair massage to staff in their workplace. I work with Cambian in Retford once a month offering massage to residents with severe neurological conditions.
