Tots' Landing Learning Centers

Tots Landing Learning Centers, Inc. opened in Murfreesboro, Tennessee in 1993 and now has four Middle Tennessee locations serving families of children ages six weeks to five years with child care, preschool and pre-kindergarten programs. As one of the areas premier child care centers, we provide a safe, fun and comfortable environment for children... to play, laugh and learn. Our developmental milestones have included multiple awards for excellence: Our two Murfreesboro centers and Smyrna location earned accreditation recently, and our LaVergne center is being reviewed now by NECPA in anticipation of accreditation. The NECPA is the only independent early education accrediting organization. Created in 1991, just two years before Tots' Landing opened its doors, its goal is to encourage and recognize excellence in early childhood programs across the U.S. and the world. Guen Campbell and Lori Perry received their degrees from the University of Tennessee. Being child care professionals and mothers themselves, the owners created Tots Landing Learning Centers, Inc. to promote an effective learning atmosphere by tempering knowledge and instruction with love and patience. Hi, I am Bethany Douglas and I am the director at our River Rock location in Murfreesboro. I have worked with Tots' Landing since 2015. I am orginally from Hendersonvlle, TN. I hold a bachelor's degree in Sociolagy from MTSU, with an emphasis in Child Welfare and Criminology. I have been married for 2 years and have a 6 year old step son. One of my favorite quotes is, "Children are not a distraction from more important work, they are the most important work - C.S. Lweis." It is such an honor to be an important part of equipping the future children to take on the world. Being able to witness the impact we as teachers leave on the lives of these children in our care is life changing.
