Established in 1991, Total Automotive was formed to give New Car Dealers an alternative means of purchasing original equipment and replacement parts for customer pay and non-warranty type repairs. This will allow the parts departments to become more profitable andalso give them the opportunity to compete with installers, instead of loosing repair jobs to them. We have since expanded into many other areas such as Body shops, Independent repair facilities, fleet companies, city municipalities and many others. We have done this by developing a custom database program that is absolutely second to none in the Industry. This program allows us to become the Industry leader when it comes to cataloging, cross referencing parts, ordering with ease, and of course our custom Order Confirmation that our regular customers have come to appreciated for years. When every order is entered into our system, an order confirmation is faxed back to the customer, showing the parts ordered, the quantities and the savings, compared to purchasing from the factory. The basis of our approach into the industry is simple, because it relates entirely to common sense purchasing. We offer some genuine packaged parts with discounts of 20% or more, as well as parts we package ourselves. Our main focus is on fast moving customer pay and non-warranty type parts. Why not save as much as 40-50% for the same parts, or OE equivalent parts without the factory package, since they will almost never be subject to warranty.
