TPL with its business partner, Contraf - Nicotex - Tobacco GmbH (CNT), contracts small producers and commercial farmers for the production of tobacco. Financial support and Agronomy advice are part of the services delivered. TPL is actively involved in improving the sustainability of tobacco production and the elimination of child labour in the tobacco industry. Through CNT the company has a presence on the ECLT board (Elimination of Child Labour in Tobacco). Never stop improving is our factory slogan. This is becoming apparent through the continuous developments to our processing operations. These refinements guarantee that the tobacco exported from Zambia meets the stringent international processing standards set by cigarette manufacturers world-wide. Our experienced and dedicated processing team is supported by our Quality Control department to ensure total customer satisfaction at all times. Tobaccos grown and processed in Zambia: Tobacco is exported to various countries worldwide. TPL works with international forwarding companies but strives to load Zambian trucks only to support the nation. We support our farmer both financially and technically. We have a team of experienced extension workers and work closely with exemplary farm input organisations. Tobacco growing is a significant part of our company values.
