The Grand Canyon synod is one of 65 regions which make up the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The Grand Canyon Region is designated as region 2D and comprises 104 ELCA congregations of Arizona, Henderson and Las Vegas, Nevada, and 1 congregation in St. George, Utah. Our synodical leader is Bishop Steve Talmage, whose offices are housed in Phoenix. Trinity Lutheran Church was incorporated in November 1948, and looks forward to praising God for another 60 years.
