TLC currently provides both Residential Care and Supported Living options to individuals who have a moderate to severe Learning Disability with complex challenging needs and/or a Mental Health diagnosis over the age of 16. Adopting the principles of Positive Behaviour Support we use a person centred approach to design and implement short and long t... erm intervention and support strategies to minimise and manage challenging behaviour. Our aim is to always support a journey towards independence. Blamsters Farm, situated on the outskirts of Halstead, is set in 4 acres of beautifully kept grounds. There are seven services on site. Halstead town centre is only a ten minute walk away, public transport is also easily accessible. The Halstead homes are currently registered for a total of 37 beds. TLC also have 3 Residential Care Homes situated in St Osyth and Weeley. TLC have recently expanded into Supported Living when it became clear that some of the people we provided a service to, required a different environment and type of support. The Management Team at TLC Care Homes have a wealth of experience and qualifications and are a continual visible and approachable presence within the services. Our staff are central to everything that we do and achieve. We look for passionate, caring and approachable individuals who treat others just as they would wish to be treated themselves.
