Titan Construction was founded in 1986 by Richard Coleman. After graduating from the BCIT Building Technology program and gaining solid experience working for a major construction company, Richard ventured on his own and started Titan Construction. Since 1986, Titan has developed into a highly respected construction company which has enjoyed the tr... ust and loyalty of many new and repeat clients over the years. Titan Construction's first project was a conventional building for the Ministry of Transportation. The second project undertaken established the company as being one of the first local tilt-up builder. The project was a 30,000 square foot building erected at a time when tilt-up was just being introduced to the Vancouver area market. Richard Coleman recalls, "the company put all the company's energy into the job and the end result was an extremely cost-effective and resilient building". From thereon, Titan became recognized as a tilt-up specialist and innovator in the incorporation of using concrete as one of the structural elements in many buildings.
