TimberLab Solutions Ltd (previously McIntosh Timber Laminates) is New Zealand's leading engineered timber design / manufacturing company with a workforce of 30, operating from our 3,500 square metre plant in East Tamaki, Auckland. Our premises feature Glulam portal frames, Glulam gantry beams and showcase elegant reverse curved Glulam beams. Since... 1958 The Company has provided complete design, manufacture, supply and installation supervision packages for timber structures, with around 65% of production being for international projects. A full range of Glulam options as well as fabricated LVL structural solutions are produced in our plant in compliance with the strict requirements of internationally recognised codes and standards. Specialised plant and equipment have been developed to enable the efficient production of high quality solutions. The recent installation of a 5 axis CNC Gantry Bridge means we are now able to offer specialist detailing and more efficient processing and finishing of complex timber structures. TimberLab is a privately owned company. The management of the company is the responsibility of Directors; Grant McIntosh and Owen Griffiths who enjoy the loyal support of factory, sales and office staff, many of whom have been with the company for more than 20 years. Our aim is to be the best provider of innovative, cost-effective and customised engineered timber solutions throughout New Zealand and to offshore markets.
