Tigar was awarded the national 2005 Quality Oscar for Business Excellence by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce on November 10, 2005. Tigar was the top contender for the award within the Large Corporations category. The Quality Oscar is a national business award given to leading for-profit or non-profit organizations in recognition of superior results... achieved in the advancement and development of quality in Serbia and Montenegro . It has been awarded since the year 1995, based on globally-established criteria, and since the year 2001, based on criteria established by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). The Fund for Quality Culture and Excellence (FQCE) was established in Serbia and Montenegro in mid-February 2002 and began managing the awarding of the national Oscar for quality and excellence . The fund has been a member of the European Foundation for Quality Management since May 1,2003. A jury composed of representatives from a number of national scientific and professional institutions chooses the winner of the award, based on quality ratings given to various operations by the Quality Rating Team selected from a list of registered business excellence rating professionals using FQCE guidelines.Read More
