TIGA Acres

Hi Everyone, and welcome to TIGA Acres. My name is Trevor Benson. I am a geotechnical engineer by trade, but I also worked on an organic farm for close to 18 years. During my farming years, besides the field work and a million other things, my main responsibility was to take care of the poultry - layer hens, broilers and turkeys. There can be chall... enges involved in raising poultry. However, it has been my experience over the years that a lot of those challenges can be either alleviated or completely eliminated if the feed rations provide the poultry with all they need. I found out about the Fertrell products because we were not happy with the results we were getting with the mineral mix we were using. That is when I was introduced to Fertrell Poultry Nutri-Balancer. With the help of Jeff Mattocks, the feed expert at The Fertrell Company, we reviewed our ration recipe and included Fertrell PNB in our poultry rations. It made a huge difference in egg production, weight gain, and flock behavior. So, when I left farming to go back to engineering, the farmer in me wanted to keep a tie with the agricultural field.
