Tiffany Billey

Hi, my name is Tiffany Billey. I am a Brooklyn based UX designer. Ever since I was in middle school, I have been the one in the house setting things up and troubleshooting when things go wrong. I have done everything from computer issues to cable issues to even furniture set-up. Up until a few days ago, my grandma was saying what would I do without... you, Tiffany, after hooking up her tv. I also went to a theatre high school, where I had a concentration in lighting design. So I was the one doing the lights for the stage productions. It was a really small school and no one else saw a passion for lighting. A lot goes into it than most people think! You have to know your equipment circumstances, know your audience and what emotion you want to convey through colors, and lighting placement. The stage is a huge blank canvas, and it is the job of the lighting designer to shed light on areas that the audience needs to know to understand the play. Very similar to the job of UX.
