About TIBIA
TIBIA offers both wide-ranging Continuing Education for massage therapists and bodyworkers and enrichment courses for the broader community. Many of our courses are open to everyone and NCBTMB-approved for CE credit--including most of our curriculum in energy, intuition, and transformation; aromatherapy classes; and the Eastern Bodywork curriculum. The state of WI, however, does not accept aromatherapy, crystal, or energy classes towards state license renewal, as these fall outside the state definition of the scope of practice for massage therapy and bodywork therapy. If you feel that these classes should count towards state license renewal, please contact Tom Ryan, Executive Director of the State of WI Massage Therapy and Bodywork Affiliated Credentialing Board, at Thomas.Ryan@wisconsin.gov. The majority of our courses do count toward WI license renewal.Explore more
