Thunderbolt Racing

Welcome to our racing website. The 2016 race season is over and all of us at Thunderbolt Racing are extremely happy with the new car and the performance we had with it. It's was a long two years off but it fueled our goal to get back to victory lane. In race one Trent avoided a wreck but had a car drive over us and end our night. We then had the da... unting task of rebuilding a brand new car for the second time in less than three months. All the hard work paid off when we took it to the track and brought home the victory on August 8th. In the third race we drove from the back of the pack to take the lead, only to have a tire failure with 30 laps to go. Our great wheelman held on and brought home a podium finish in third place. Our forth race was set up with an awesome day of practice on the Friday before the race. We made a few minor adjustments after the last race and laid down an unofficial track record of 13.971. This lap was the fastest lap ever run at Wyant Group Raceway(formally ACMS). Race day we unloaded the car in qualifying trim and bettered our Friday practice time with Trent running a lighting fast lap in practice of 13.961, which happened to be 2 tenths quicker than the next fastest car. The speed carried over to the heat race, as we won our 4th straight heat race and went on to win our second feature race of the 2016 season.
