Think Raytown First is a campaign started by the Raytown Chamber to encourage doing business locally and a way to keep the community informed. What do you think when you hear the phrase, Think Raytown First? Do you think of where you live, where you work or where you come to play? No matter what your answer is, we want you to Think Raytown First! I... f each person bought an extra item, paid for an additional service or even bought an item they normally buy outside the city limits of Raytown think what that would do to city services, to taxes and even more importantly to that local business. ThinkRaytownFirst.com includes a Community Event Calendar which is a community-wide calendar intended to promote all events that are open to residents of Raytown. The calendar is divided into categories including Adult Classes/Seminars, Kids, Events, Social/Clubs and Government. The website will also help promote the organizations, by linking the event to their website for more information. Also included on the website is a community survey. We want to know what you know about Raytown. The survey will help to provide direction when it comes to marketing an event or planning one in the future.
