About Theel
Located in Rolla, on the northern most border of North Dakota, 10 miles from Canada, Theel Motors has been a staple in Rolette and Towner Counties for over 69 years. Theel Chevrolet was founded by Bruce Theel after acquiring the Chevrolet Franchise from Bill and Charlie Munro. After obtaining the Pontiac, Buick and Oldsmobile franchises, the business was re-named Theel Motors. In 1980, Bruce sold the dealership to his son-in-law Lowell Tupa and daughter Loie (Theel) Tupa. Today, Theel Motors continues as a successful Chevrolet and Buick dealership. Most recently, Theels current General Manager and partner, Josh Munro and his wife Jenee, have returned to his home town of Rolla to be the next generation to continue the Theel Motors brand and the Chevrolet and Buick franchise.
