The team of young web designers and programmers had a considerable challenge on their hands, attempting to balance elegance, modern design and site functionality. It is hoped that the end result reflects these three elements well. The site might at first seem complex but in fact is very easy to use and divided in six very obvious sections. In the first part 'explore', the large, clickable map of the world allows the user to quickly find mega-regions and regions. The 'travellers' section presents main statistics and a listing of our travellers rankings, while the 'trips' section gives information of past and future trips. Stories is a colourful mosaic of the latest 500 entries by travellers. The extensive links section, counting 20000 entries, is a vast library of travel sites, while the 'forum' can serve for questions, discussions and the development of travel contacts. Our animation film gives you a 3-minute introduction to the website. You will also find an instructions tab under your Profile, which is the main way you can administer your own account to add trips or other information to your profile.
