The Wren Coffee

The Wren Coffee is a coffee shop nestled inside St Nicholas Cole Abbey, a church that holds its primary service mid-week. The aim of 'The St Nick's Talks' is to explain, from the Bible, the good news about the person and work of Jesus Christ to those who work locally in the Blackfriars, Mansion House and St Pauls area. While the church building's p... rimary focus is The St Nicks Talks and other such associated/partnering ministries, it does also make an excellent home for The Wren Coffee. The cafe area is open to everyone Monday to Friday, 7am-4.30pm (except when we close for St Nick's Talks on Thursday from 12:55pm - 2pm). The church family meets collectively every Thursday at 1.05pm in St Nicholas Cole Abbey for their most public meeting of the week. They meet formally for a half-hour talk seeking to explain the Christian message from the Bible, and then informally for another fifteen minutes or so to talk through what they heard, consider it in greater depth and to get to know each other better. They welcome people at any stage of Christian understanding, whether you would call yourself a Christian or are simply interested in finding out more about the Christian faith.
