The Welch Cop has a full time estimating department that is able to quickly provide the company's clients with budgets and estimates. The company's project superintendents and foremen are fully trained in HAZMAT and OSHA 40 Hours Training. The company is a union shop having agreements with the Massachusetts Laborers and the Operating Engineers Local 4. The company presently employ over one hundred and fifty skilled laborers, equipment operators and foremen. The Welch Corp. is a member of the Building Trades Employer Association (BTEA) and The Massachusetts Building Congress. Also, the company is affiliated with the Albert J. Welch Equipment Corp., which owns and operates in excess of ninety-five pieces of late model heavy equipment and support vehicles.
