About The Wardrobe
The Wardrobe (formerly Career Wardrobe) believes clothing shouldn't be a barrier to success. We work to eliminate clothing insecurity which can mean not having anything to wear or not having the right thing to wear. Whether someone is in need of an outfit for work or everyday life, they receive access to free clothing while receiving the STAR Treatment - Styling, Time, Advice, and Respect. Outfitted with clothing from The Wardrobe our guests are dressed to move forward to work to stabilize their lives after experiencing trauma, incarceration or homelessness or transition to work or move into a better job. The Wardrobe assists 5,000 people annually throughout the 5-county Philadelphia region where they can receive personal assistance either in person or virtually by ordering a Wardrobe Box.
