Video Workbench (LLC) is now a limited liability corporation, separate from its original parent company, Controltrack Productions. All contracts for hosts of the program will need to be renegotiated. Sales records will be kept until new contracts can be completed. All the tapes for sale on this site are returned and restocked inventory. Back in '95... , when I closed out the series, I sold off all my videos to various distributors, catalog companies, and stores; I invoiced all the companies, and, to close out the books on Video Workbench, I paid a final royalty to all the hosts of the series. I then moved on to feature films. Over the next several months--even up to two years later--I received hundreds of tapes back from distributors who had never paid me in the first place. When the Internet became popular, I began selling off my remaining stock of tapes. When each tape is sold out, such as the now-discontinued title "How to Photograph Scale Models," the master will be retired, or "out of print." The Video Workbench series is no longer owned by Controltrack Productions, but is a wholly independent company, Video Workbench LLC. Since all hosts have already been paid for these tapes, there won't be any further royalties paid. If it's decided to duplicate another batch of tapes, then Video Workbench, LLC, will issue new royalty agreements.
