In our opinion, the thinking is simple: (a) advocate the importance of innovation for the region through introducing innovative funds to deliver solutions that address the region to be positioned as an "open lab", inviting early adoption that can drive solutions globally, (b) introduce accelerators to build a pipeline of both startups and small ent... erprises that can accommodate investments and venture capital, (c) increase the number of angel investors and fund managers capable of deploying capital across the multiple stages of a business, starting at the seed stage, and (d) be inclusive in our approach and advocate for a less exclusive ecosystem. Our experience is influenced by both a micro perspective at the level of managing an accelerator to a macro level when articulating our innovative strategy to deliver impact at the country level.
