The Tannery

Our aim at The Tannery is to bring the tradition and craftsmanship of high quality leather to our customers, all at an affordable price. We are proud of our strong commitment to our ethos and customer satisfaction. We first opened our doors in Holt, a historic market town just inland from the beautiful North Norfolk Coast, in the May of 2006. Since... then we have managed to build a reputation for quality and service both within the local community and on a more national scale. The Tannery was created and is owned by Lindsay Furniss who has carefully selected a range of fine leather goods which have been sourced from traditional workshops across Europe, ensuring that we could provide our customers with unique products. The items found in The Tannery are mainly sourced from individual artisan workshops from Florence but we also stock products from England, Germany, Spain and France. With the success of our first shop, we made the decision to open up a second larger shop which catered more for our ladies collection, and with the expansion of our brands and products, the space soon became full with fine leather bags, shoes and accessories. We even began to develop our own named brand of Italian leather bags. And in 2010 an opportunity arose for The Tannery to open a shop in the historic Royal Arcade Norwich, a vibrant city centre in the heart of Norfolk. In July 2016 we decided to spread our wings even further and opened our fourth shop in the beautiful suffolk town of Woodbridge. With now just over ten years' experience behind us, we still stick to our original mission statement of quality and affordability. We now stock a wide collection of leather goods including, hand stitched gloves, textured and colourful accessories, handbags, briefcases, belts, shoes, scarves and homeware. Our brands have also expanded and we are now fortunate to hold; The Bridge, Texier, Mywalit, Church's, Crockett & Jones, Millican,Tusting and BRICS amongst others.Read More
