About The Tango Center
The Tango Center was a non-profit community center located in downtown Eugene, dedicated to the music and dance of Argentine Tango. It offered classes and events that introduced over 10,000 people to Tango, becoming the largest weekly Milonga in the Northwest during its operation from 2003 to 2009. The center aimed to revitalize the urban space by creating an inclusive environment for all ages to learn and participate in social dance.
