In TACUSPA, I have served in a number of roles related to marketing. have served as the co-editor of the TACUSPA Times newsletter since 2013. have enjoyed the opportunity to share with our membership the wonderful things TACUSPA does to promote involvement, engagement, and scholarship in student affairs in Texas. was privileged to serve on the 2015... Annual Conference Committee as the Marketing Co-Chair, and I am currently serving a one-year appointment as the new VP for Marketing for 2015-2016.TACUSPA provides Student Affairs professionals in Texas amazing opportunities to connect and learn from one another, and I am proud to be involved in sharing TACUSPAs story.Today, I am honored to be nominated to continue to serve as the Vice President for Marketing for TACUSPA. have many years of experience developing and overseeing printed and electronic communications, which will be useful in creating quality marketing pieces for TACUSPA. Serving on the 2015 Conference Committee gave me a great deal of insight as to how the VP for Marketing needs to collaborate with members and leadership in all aspects of TACUSPA so the organizations message reaches all constituents. My goals include: 1. Expanding the scope of the TACUSPA newsletter to involve a variety of contributors and provide more information to members 2. Increasing TACUSPAs marketing efforts to graduate programs and young professionals to enhance membership in those populations 3. Enhancing TACUSPAs presence on social medial platforms 4. Increasing recognition of TACUSPA members and award recipients I truly believe TACUSPA is a premier state organization dedicated to the profession of student affairs.
