Vibe, a Lloyd's managing agent, was formed in 2007. The managing agent manages Syndicate 5678 at Lloyd's, which underwrites a range of insurance and reinsurance business. Insurance lines include Financial Institutions and Professional Indemnity classes. Our reinsurance business comprises of Property Treaty in addition to our successful heritage of... providing legacy solutions through Reinsurance to Close (RITC) of open years. Vibe Syndicate Management Limited is approved by Lloyd's and authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority. The Group has successfully established itself as a leading player in the London run-off market. Vibe's Syndicate 5678 rapidly became one of the largest writers of run-off at Lloyd's and in 2011 the Group expanded into the UK company market by its acquisition of Inceptum Insurance Company Limited (formerly HSBC Insurance (UK) Limited). Over $1.3 billion of legacy business has been written in the Lloyd's and UK Company Markets and the Group is now seeking to expand in the European and worldwide markets. In addition to London, the Group operates in Puerto Rico, where it owns Syndicate RE A.I., an authorised reinsurance company and in Monaco via Syndicate Re SARL. Key to the Group's growth is the move into live underwriting through Vibe Syndicate 5678 where it is planned to replicate the success of its legacy business by maintaining its disciplined approach to underwriting.
