About The Surgery Clinic
The Surgery Clinic, LLC is the oldest General Surgery practice in Etowah County. It was originally started by Dr. Joe Denson in 1958. Dr. Lucian Newman Jr. came to Gadsden in 1968 and the practice continued to grow with the addition of Dr. Lucian Newman III in 1993, Dr. Charles L. Newman in 1995 and Dr. Steven M. Jackson in 2012. Our surgeons are Board Certified or Board Eligible of The American Board of Surgery. We are also represented by members of The Fellows of the American College of Surgeons. We are the only surgeons in Etowah County who are trained to and perform ALL forms of Advanced Laparoscopic surgery including Laparoscopic Colon Surgery, Laparoscopic Fundoplication Surgery, Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS), and Laparoscopic Robotic Surgery.Explore more
