The Sierra County Prospect

Sierra County Prospect was founded in 2008 by Laurenc DeVita and Liz Fisher. In June of 2012 Fisher took over the main helm and DeVita got to relax and become a Fringe Editor in the far north of America. The site became sierracountyprospect.org which still continues to confuse people but they eventually figure it out. DeVita, the Fringe Editor, sti... ll at large, Dedicated to the hopeless cause of the sovereign individual. In January 2016 DeVita writes when he chooses and an occasional contributor to SCP. Fisher, the current Editor, does all the work, occasionally writes, takes stands on issues and knows more than DeVita cause shes older. Dedicated to equality and fairness. He once said, ironically, The man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers. However, Jefferson also said, The only security of all is in a free press. The force of public opinion cannot be resisted when permitted freely to be expressed. The agitation it produces must be submitted to. It is necessary, to keep the waters pure.
