About The Shackleton Association
The Shackleton Association is dedicated to preserving the memory of the Avro Shackleton and fostering connections among enthusiasts of the aircraft. Founded in 1987 by a group of ex-RAF members, the association aimed to ensure that the legacy of the Avro Shackleton would not be forgotten. Although the association officially ended in December 2025, its archivist continues to assist with inquiries related to the aircraft.
