About The Roundup
The Roundup has been a local publication for over 35 years serving the MonDak Region (Western North Dakota and Eastern Montana). The publication was purchased by Russ Wells in 1994. His son, Jody, took over ownership in 2009. The Roundup has progressed dramatically from a shopper into a free distribution newspaper and member of the Montana Newspaper Association. The paper is carrier delivered in Sidney and mailed elsewhere. We also have newsstands in Watford City, Williston and Sidney. Our editor, Lois Kerr, reports on our entire area, and, with the help of additional photographers and writers in our area, we provide a balance of regional news of interest to our readers. We cover the latest business developments and also welcome news and photos from our readership.
