Established in 1996. Voted the #1 gift store on the Monterey Peninsula, The Quill offers a fabulous selection of greeting cards, books, gifts, wrappings and stationery. Our Invitation Studio is your premiere destination for personalized gifts, wedding invitations, social stationery and party invitations. Let us help make everyday a celebration! The Quill was opened by Lisa Mefford in February of 1996. Lisa started the business as a small gift shop and invitation store. Popularity grew and Lisa expanded the business with more offerings for her growing clientele. Lisa hired Stephanie Loftus in 2006 to help grow the increasing wedding invitation demand and assist customers with custom design for their stationery needs. Stephanie continued to work with clients for the next 10 years and acquired the reputation as the "go-to gal" for creative invitations on the Monterey Peninsula. Stephanie now owns The Quill and enjoys both working with clients and buying for the ever growing retail store.Explore more
