The Premier Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Grameen Phone to provide Inward Foreign Remittance Services to the population of remote location of Bangladesh using mobile phone technology. Under this agreement beneficiaries of Bangladeshi expatriates will receive their money from The Premier Bank through Grameen Phone's designated outlets/di... stribution channels. However, the beneficiary will not have to pay any fee avail the services. The signing ceremony was held on May 17, 2010 at the Head Office of The Premier Bank Limited, Iqbal Center, Banani, Dhaka. Mr. Niaz Habib, Managing Director of The Premier Bank Limited and Mr. Oddvar Hesjedal, Managing Director & CEO of Grameen Phone signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
