The Pine Warehouse is a traditional English family run business that has been trading in Hull for over 15 years. Our skilled joiners craft quality reproduction pine furniture from the best Scandinavian woods available, using traditional methods that have stood the test of time to ensure your furniture will give you years of pleasure. Although we ma... y live in an age of mass production, all the solid wood furniture produced at The Pine Warehouse is made individually, from the selection of the timber to completion by the same joiner. Add to this the fact that The Pine Warehouse achieve the perfect balance between the highest possible quality and the best possible price, and you will see why we are leading the market in the manufacture of solid wood furniture. Started in 1989 by Mr Bert Martin in an out building of his home near Hull, it soon became apparent that the demand for his furniture was too great for his small workshop. Moving to new premises near the Hull New Theatre which included a small showroom he went from strength to strength. Great customer loyalty and word of mouth of this great little shop where quality, value and excellent customer service where key meant that by the mid 90,s a need arose to expand further. Furniture production moved to an 8000 square ft factory in the very heart of Hull behind the Princes Quay Shopping Centre with a 2500 square ft showroom opened just round the corner. Business grew rapidly but Mr Martin,s dedication to the highest customer service, constant search for product improvement and a keen eye for new trends in the market ensured that it was always the customer who came first. Sadly Mr Bert Martin died in 2003 but the business is still family owned and run. Now Bert Martin,s wife Liz Martin and his nephew Jon Roberts ensure that the traditions and values of the company are still upheld to this day.
