About The Pilates
The Pilates Company was established in 2003 to provide the best quality classes at a reasonable cost. Our studio offers private & semi-private Pilates sessions on our top of the line equipment with an incredible team of highly trained Pilates coaches from a range of backgrounds and training. Marena and Chris (the owners of the Pilates Company) have been involved in Pilates since the mid 1980's. Their sister company 'Positive Action Pilates' runs a range of courses in both Australia and New Zealand teaching instructors in the Pilates Method. They have presented at Australia's largest Fitness Conferences in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. Marena is the co-author of the book 'Pilates Mastery' and a featured presenter in the Donna Aston 'Pilates to Go' DVD's. Marena and Chris are one of the most highly qualified Pilates teams in Australia, having trained in several styles of Pilates including 'Stott Pilates', 'Fletcher Pilates', 'Traditional Pilates' and 'Classical Pilates'.
