The Paw Spa

The Paw Spa has been in business since 2004 and is run by myself, Heidi Leubecher, certified groomer, with a great... deal of help and support from my family, I couldnt have done it without them. I consider the Paw Spa to be different form other groomers because of the TLC that is given to each and every dog I care for. When we think of a day at the Spa, we associate it with a place that you are pamperedgetting your nails done.hair washed and styledhaving a massage..and just that feeling of being treated like a queen. Unfortunately, not all dogs share that same opinion when they come to the Paw Spa. Although for them it is a necessity, and they may not come willingly, I do my best to make it a positive experience for them. There is no assembly line grooming. I am one on one with every dog, they have my full attention the whole time they are here, and they are never left alone. Your dog will also have its nails done, although they usually dont enjoy it like we wouldwhile they are in the bath they get a full body massage, which they do enjoy! After the bath they get ears rubbed, face rubbed and eye rubs, they really like that. Then they are hand dried, which most of them love because they are being brushed the whole time, which seems to be very soothing many of them go to sleep during the drying process. I try to keep their stay with me as stress free as possible. I NEVER put them in kennels, it is very stressful and I dont even have any here. Since I only do one dog at a time, there is no stress of a bunch of other dogs barking. They are never left alone on a table, as a lot of places do. They put them on a table and just put a dryer in front of them or put them in kennels with cage dryers, those things are very stressful.
